The Gazette, Eastern Iowa’s local, independent newspaper, is proud to bring Festival of Trees to Eastern Iowa as the premier holiday event.

This majestic two-day holiday experience offers classic and contemporary decorations, local artisans showcasing unique gifts along with activities and entertainment for all ages.

After a two-year hiatus, The Gazette returned this cherished event in 2022, welcoming more than 10,000 guests. In 2023, the team is proud to announce the November 18-19 event will be held at Lindale Mall, filled with even more exciting products, sights and sounds.

The Trees

The amazing display of holiday trees are customized with themes from the most creative minds for every style preference.

Attending FOT supports our area nonprofits. The non-perishable food drive along with a portion of proceeds from the tree bids will be in support of two important community resources—HACAP and Tanager Place. This year’s theme for FOT is all about Children’s Mental Health.

Activities For All

From Santa and Mrs. Claus to a variety of cultural traditions from around the globe, Festival of Trees is about celebration of the holiday season for every individual.

A showcase of local entertainment.

Holiday Vendor Market

In addition to the exciting trees, beautiful décor and nonstop activities, Festival of Trees is an opportunity to showcase local businesses offering unique, beautiful gifts for everyone on your shopping list.
