The Festival of Trees is Eastern Iowa’s premier holiday event—a beloved community tradition that celebrates the season through creativity, giving, and togetherness. Hosted by The Gazette, and two co-presenting sponsors Edward Jones: Matthew Rumery, Financial Advisor and Holmes Murphy, this multi-day celebration transforms, this multi-day celebration transforms DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel into a winter wonderland filled with beautifully decorated trees, festive displays, and the spirit of the holiday season. This year, proceeds from the tree auction and product drive will support 2 local nonprofits. Festival of Trees is more than just an event; it’s a way for our community to celebrate, give back, and make lasting holiday memories together.
From Friday, November 13-15, 2026, families, friends, and visitors of all ages can experience the magic – featuring dozens of custom-designed trees created by local businesses, artists, and organizations, Visits from Santa & Mrs. Claus, A holiday vendor market highlighting artisans and makers, Live entertainment, performances, and family activities, and special themed days, including Sensory Day and Senior Day.
